The following three images are mockups of my final Poster Design submission for the SXSW (South By Southwest) 2022 Music Festival in Austin, Texas. Under creative review of the Portland Pickles and COLLiDE Agency. I cut the Mascot, Dillon T. Pickle, out of another image, added a guitar with strap, recolored it, and set the type on a GRID layout. I Manipulated the flourish on the "K" descender in "Pickle's" to wrap around the "T" in "Austin."
The Following images are mockups of the final advertisement release, following final edits made by Cameron Hunter (of COLLiDE Agency) and talent approval.
The Ad reached FOX 7 in TEXAS.
I designed this packaging under the creative review of Portland Pickles Baseball Team executives, Parker Huffman, Colleen Schroht, Ross Campbell, and Alan Miller; and in collaboration with Co-Intern Thiago Tucci. This bobblehead is a special edition, summer 2022 bobblehead, honoring fan-favorite, 4-season player, Gabe Skoro. *Thiago Tucci is credited with creating the art work for the blue, "GABE SKORO" front panel.
I was responsible for designing the art work for the back #12 panel, editing the body copy, setting the typography to be legible at a small size, positioning the team logos and utilizing colors per strict use of the Portland Pickles *BRAND STANDARD*
I was also responsible for communicating with the printer to prepare all files for final printing.
*The following photos are my own product photography*
For this ad series, I created a rather modular design system that could easily be manipulated and moved around different grids for each size ratio: 1:1.91, 1:1, and 16:9. I pushed typography that is usually outside the realm of sports, because this item is so unique, and a limited release. I posed for these photos from a backward perspective intentionally, to be ambiguous, and to leave the hat open to gender fluidity. For these photos, I photographed the seamless Lightbox shots myself, I then directed my partner, Jake Epstein, in photographing me modeling the hat for the "lifestyle" shots.
