Magazine Layout- FAILE interview
This is a 2-spread magazine layout done for DES 300 @PSUGD. The artist-duo FAILE are based out of Brooklyn, NYC, and their work is multi-dimensional, bold, and deliberate. I designed this layout with the intention of balancing their dense, elaborate work with clean typography, and subtle flare in the mix, like the ripped edge and bold letters of the pull-quote on the last page, and the 90 degree angle of the title, arranged to fit the intro image in an energetic and multi-dimensional manner.
